This course explains the benefits of using technology, such
as heart rate monitors, fitness assessment systems and
hand-held computers in physical education to objectively
assess each student. Participants will discover how technology
can provide them with the visual evidence to educate
students, administrators and parents on the importance of
living a healthy, physically active lifestyle. Don’t miss this

as heart rate monitors, fitness assessment systems and
hand-held computers in physical education to objectively
assess each student. Participants will discover through
practice how technology can provide them with the visual
evidence to educate students, administrators and parents
on the importance of living a healthy, physically active lifestyle.
Participants will receive a Polar resource cd and software
demo cd.
Students will:
- Review the benefits of using technology in physical
education
- Explore the types of Polar physical education
technology
- Learn and practice how to use each piece of Polar
technology and software
- Learn and practice how to incorporate Polar
technology into the physical education curriculum
- Learn how to get funding for technology
Cost: $98 per class for 1 hour graduate credit, or $50 per class for 8 CEU’s only.
