Tip 1 - New Member Orientation
By giving new members their BodyAge™ assessment during orientation,
Personal Trainers can then change their client's perspective from
"Fitness" to "Longevity."
- Run the following assessment protocols:
- Blood Pressure
- Body Composition: 3 site skinfold
- Strength
- Flexibility
- Review BodyAge Score and discuss BodyAge recommendations.
- Determine caloric needs based on member goals.
- Print caloric needs program and provide member with time frame
for losing/gaining weight.
- It will take 12 weeks to lose 50 pounds.
- It will take 10 weeks to gain 10 pounds of lean mass.
- Ask for similar sized Personal Training Package.
Tip 2 - On Floor Promotions
Get the personal training staff to interact more with membership
thereby allowing them to sell more personal training sessions, full
assessments and other club services. Position Polar BodyAge System on club
floor in high traffic area. Have members line up for BodyAge testing.

- Strength
- Flexibility
- Review BodyAge Score and discuss BodyAge recommendations.
- Promote full assessment with Max V02 testing (most heavily
weighted factor of BodyAge score).
- Promote Personal Training
- Match other club services to members needs.
Tip 3 - New Member Prospects
- Let prospective members know that your club is uniquely qualified
to help them meet their goals because your club is on the cutting
edge of exercise technology and physiology.
- Show prospects the foundations of personalized exercise and
nutrition programs.
- While showing them your club - do a quick BodyAge assessment.
- Match prospect needs to club services.
