Polar has been a leader in fitness assessment technology for 35 years, and is a trusted choice among athletes, educators and consumers. The Polar suite of education technology was designed in collaboration with schools to give physical educators tools to instill the benefits of being active and healthy among students. Polar Active can measure the quantity and quality of daily activity. If a school allows students to use Polar Active to measure activity beyond or during the school day it is always recommended that it is done with parental consent.

The activity data is stored on the polargofit.com web service. All information is securely stored and the data is available only to authorized users with a password. The main goal of the Polar Active is to provide individual guidance to motivate students towards a healthy and active lifestyle. For schools, the Polar Active is a tool to offer every student an individualized experience in health and PE classes where they can perform and improve effectively at their own level.
