Brian Frost

Back in 1999, I was a casual runner. I would head out on my lunch hours and run a few miles. That year a family member was diagnosed with leukemia and to support him, I join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training group and registered for my first marathon. Since I had just turned 40, I figured it was a good idea to keep an eye on my heart rate, so I purchased a Polar ProTrainer XT. I incorporated the HRM into my training and successfully ran the Honolulu marathon in 4:08 in December 1999. It was a great experience and it changed my life. Fast forward to 2011 and I am still active and have moved on from marathons to Ironman Triathlons and I still us my ProTrainer XT, of course now it has a bike module with it now. This November will be my third Ironman (in Arizona) and will be going to Ironman Mont-Tremblant in August 2012. I couldn't have gotten here without my Polar HRM to help me train at the proper intensity.Thank You Polar !
