In October 2009, weighing 240 lbs I have decided that I wanted to transform my body, lose weight and start living a healthier life.In 7 months I have lost over 70 lbs and I made a complete transformation in my life. My Polar heart rate monitor helped me to track my caloric expenditure throughout my weight loss journey. Once I lost 40 lbs I started running and I have been using my Polar RS800cx to train efficiently. I perform all my training sessions using heart rate based training. My 5K time has improved from 24:04 in January to 18:13 in May. I have completed a half marathon in 1:31:20 and a 25K midnight race in 85F heat in 1:52:02 in July. I am currently training for the Tyler Rose Marathon on 10/10/10 and I'm hoping to run a Boston Qualifying time of 3:10 or less.
