Years ago, with another doctor, I got my cholesterol down. I used the F6 on my treadmill. Thinking (or not?) that was a "done deal" I stopped exercising. A couple years later, from regular tests, it was up again. With a different doctor and renewed effort, I did it again. But first I had to get a new treadmill and upgraded to Poar's F11. I liked how it breaks up sessions into three levels of difficulty, records them and it all can be uploaded to my computer. Then I noticed a banner for a 5K on my own street, sponsored by my own church. Was that a sign of sorts? Having never participated in any sports, at 59 I asked my doctor if I could participate. Although I hoped he's say, "No!" he said, "Sure!" Turns out I won the racewalking division! Winning several more the next couple of years I then cooridinated one to raise awareness and funding for the Alzheimer's Association, where my mom resided with AD. Entering my own race, I won that too and have a trophy of my having "won it for Mom!"
