I've never been a person that could eat whatever she wants and have no consequences. Before I had my heart rate monitor, I was using a standard chart online to figure out my calories burned. Well, was that chart ever wrong! I burn more calories and would’ve never known without my heart rate monitor. Last year, I suffered a difficult lost and became depressed. Plus, I had a back injury that left me bedridden for over a month. Needless to say, I gained weight. I became ashamed and upset with myself for gaining weight. So I picked up my Polar and started at the beginning. In no time, the weight started to come off! I’ve been tracking my calories in and out with my F4. I wear my stylish monitor everywhere. For the record, I burn 1200 calories in three hours of cross country skiing. I burned 1100 in three hours of hiking. My monitor is a great motivational tool! I’m happy to say I’m down 26 pounds and haven’t looked bac!k!
